Study Overview

The Nottingham Rd Multimodal Improvements Study is focused on improving safety, consistency, and multimodal access to and from many amenities between Meadowbrook Drive in the City of Syracuse and Westcliffe Road in the Town of DeWitt. This planning effort aims to identify improvements that will:

  • Increase pedestrian and bicycle trips,
  • Reduce vehicle miles traveled / personal vehicle trips,
  • Improve pedestrian and bicycle safety along the corridor, and
  • Improve accessibility and mobility for all road users.

The study area spans two municipalities: the City of Syracuse and Town of DeWitt.

To date, staff have completed the Existing Conditions task for this study. A draft final report is anticipated in Summer 2026.
